AGORA presents: Rehabilitation Through the Arts' "Dramatic Escape"

"Dramatic Escape" is the remarkable documentary by Goldcrest Films that transports viewers into the lives of a group of maximum security prisoners preparing to stage a production of A Few Good Men as part of the Rehabilitation Through the Arts (RTA) program at Sing Sing Correctional Facility in Ossining, NY. It provides an intimate look at life behind bars as it traces the steps from auditions through curtain call. Along the way, the men reveal their personal stories, their everyday struggles, and contemplate whether redemption is possible. Click here to watch the trailer.

The screening will be followed by a panel discussion with Katherine Vockins, RTA Founder; Rev. David Bisgrove, Lead Pastor of Redeemer West Side; Jill Becker, RTA Communications; Johnny Hincapie, RTA Alum; Clarence Macklin, RTA Alum; Robbie Pollock, RTA Alum

Wine and hors d'oeuvres reception to follow catered by the DOE Fund.
