"This exhibit is an exploration of memory and meaning as well as an invitation to reconsider one’s closet. “Re/collecting” could also be seen as a sartorial scrapbook, a therapeutic exercise, or a waste of time. It is definitely a process, and I admit, sometimes it feels like I am making more difficult what could be done in one swift, clean sweep. But more often, making space in this way feels as though I am preparing myself for greater loss—facing finitude—which I know is not a one-size-fits-all kinda thing."
